Level of Lake Sevan Gradually Rising

The level of Lake Sevan is gradually rising. According to the data published by "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" of RA Environment Ministry, the lake level rose by 2 cm between May 5-12. As of May 5, 2023, the lake level made up 1900.41 m, while as of May 12, it was 1900.43 m.

However, the lake level remains 14 cm below the figure for the same day last year. On May 12, 2022, the lake level was 1900.57 m. Since the beginning of the year, 39,666 million cubic meters of water have flowed into the lake through Arpa-Sevan aqueduct.
