As part of “Ensuring food security in Gndevaz settlement through sustainable resource management" project, the irrigation systems in Gndevaz - part of Jermuk consolidated community in Vayots Dzor Region—have been modernized and upgraded. As a result, approximately 120 hectares of land in Gndevaz are now irrigable.
The project has contributed to the establishment of new orchards and increased the incomes of around 180 families, which will help mitigate the effects of climate change.
