At its June 4 meeting, the Government approved the proposal to sign Grant Agreement No. 1029 04 L between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the French Development Agency (AFD) within the framework of “Integrated Development of Armenia’s Water and Agriculture Sectors” program.
The program envisages the signing of a grant agreement worth a total of €12 million. The planned activities include the phased rehabilitation and modernization of irrigation systems in the communities of Sisian, Goris, and Meghri, the expansion of gravity-fed irrigation systems, the modernization of pumping stations, and the introduction of water reuse systems.
