Many farmers in Teghut and Shnogh villages consider the exploitation of Teghut deposit as a source of well-being, but ecologists insist that the exploitation of the deposit will bring many disasters.
…“Is this approach correct that three rivers will disappear as a result of exploitation, and neither flora nor fauna will be preserved?” Tatoul Manaseryan, a well-known economist, asked and added that the price, 175 thousand drams for one river (about \$ 600) was most disturbing. According to Manaseryan, he is ready to buy five such rivers by his modest salary and to present them to Armenia.
