CIVIC SOCIETY OF ARMENIA, GEORGIA AND AZERBAIJAN SIGNED AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION PRINCIPLES TO SAFEGUARD STABILITY AND FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

Civic society representatives from Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan signed an agreement “On Cooperation Principles to Safeguard Stability and for Sustainable Development of South Caucasus.”

This document was discussed at the meeting held by the Greens Union on 11-12 February, Tbilisi, Georgia. The participants decided the strategy of joint activities must be based on common desire and efforts aimed at finding new ways out of the deadlock that will become a basis for the peace and stability in the region and prosperity of our nations.

The agreement was signed by the Greens part of Georgia, Young Greens of Georgia, the Center for Environmental Law (Georgia), the People’s Voice (Georgia), the Greens Party of Azerbaijan, the Armenian Committee of Helsinki Citizens Assembly, “For Sustainable Human Development” Association (Armenia), “Collaboration For Democracy” Center (Armenia), “EcoLur” Informational NGO, representatives of “We Are This City’s Owners” and “Teghout Protectors” Civic Initiatives (Armenia).
