Today some powers, both in Armenia and outside of Armenia, losing their power and breadwinner, they try to take every opportunity and vest the responsibility of the situation created by them on the new authorities. All means and intrigues are put in place to prevent the legitimate government elected by the people from establishing a legal and sovereign state in the country.
What is important for these forces is not the exploitation or cessation of the Amulsar mine, but to make use of the current situation and to create an anti-governmental wave.
Correct resolution of the situation around Amulsar Mine requires patient, thorough scrutiny, accurate economic and financial analysis and calculation of win-lose comparisons. This issue should be resolved not through a referendum, as some groups speculate on the issue, but only through a professional panel of scientists, lawyers and environmentalists.
The problem should not be perceived as a conflict between the authorities and environmentalists, but as a nation-state effort, where beneficiaries are the state and the people.
Supporting the authorities, we expect from them to make a final and reasonable decision on the Amulsar issue.
