Vaghut River is one of the tributaries to the Vorotan, also known as Vaghatni. Its length is 12 km. As of 1 October 2013, under the licenses issued by Public Services Regulatory Committee, the following SHPPs are constructed on this river:

  1. “Benzar Energy” SHPP operated by “Benzar Energy” LLC, derivation length – 640  meters,
  2. “Zor-Zor1” SHPP operated by “Pargev&Vardan” LLC, derivation length – 1365 meters,
  3. “Zor-Zor2” SHPP operated by “Energodzor” LLC, derivation length – 400, 350, 350  meters (1100 meters).

The SHPPs pipe a total river area of 3105 meters, which makes up 25.875% of the river.
