On July 2, RA Police received operative information that the director of one of the branches of "Armforest" SNCO had hunted a bezoar goat in the area called "Ardaraz" in Yelpin village, as RA Police informs about this.
The pray for found in the area called "Under the Stone" in Yelpin hidden in the stream. The director of "ArmForest" SNCO branch, who was present at the scene, said that the bezoar goat had been hunted by one of the foresters of "ArmForest" SNCO.
The director and forester were taken to Yeghegnadzor Police Department.
A criminal case has been initiated on the occasion of the incident, according to Article 294 (2(1)) of RA Criminal Code (Illegal hunting, which was committed using the official position). The director of the branch of "ArmForest" SNCO has been arrested. A preliminary investigation is in progress.
