EcoLur has published a new video presenting an awareness-raising meeting on the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), held by EcoLur in Sevan Community. The meeting addressed biodiversity conservation, the role of the community, and the participation of Sevan Community in the COP17 process.
In the video, Satik Badeyan, President of Centre for Territorial Development and Research NGO, and Liana Asoyan, Founding President of Blejan Environmental, Social and Business Support NGO, discuss the importance of community engagement in the conservation of Lake Sevan, the need for responsible behaviour, and the opportunity to present issues related to the conservation of Lake Sevan and the community’s experience within the framework of COP17.
