Activists are beating an alarm signal on Facebook social network. They are writing that the owners of suspended restaurant complex in Khosrov forest and Nature Protection Ministry officials demonstrate incomprehensible activity in Gilan section. Reminder: due to public activities, Gilan section recovered its status of wildlife reserve zone. Nevertheless, the government turned down the public offer to dismantle the restaurant complex constructed there. Instead, there was an assignment to set up a working group, which should determine what kind of function this building will have. There were offers to accomplish the construction of this building and to found a scientific center. When replying to EcoLur’s question, “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve Director Vorontsov Barseghyan turned down the assumption that the activities of building owners and officials again resumes in Gilan section and said this issue is still frozen.
