Gilan Unfinished Building, “Let Compensate Who Undersigned This Document”

The Nature Protection Ministry Committee set up to deal with unfinished construction in Gilan section of Khosrov Forest reserve is currently considering three versions of problem solution.  First Deputy Nature Protection Minister Simon Papyan said about this during the visit to Khosrov made with public representatives on 18 July. “One of the solutions is dismantling. In this case, we estimate the range of economic damage, the range of compensation, which will probably be given from the budget. 

The second option is to look into ways how this building can be used. The third option is the committee looks into how it happened this building had been constructed,” Simon Papyan said. 

“Khosrov Forest” State Reserve Director Varantsov Barseghyan noted, “It’s much easier to destroy than to construct. Can’t we use this building for better purposes? The construction garbage will cause more damage to the reserve.”

Activists Yeghia Nersisyan told the director: 

The garbage will be taken out with trucks.

They must compensate us and not we…. Let compensate who undersigned this document.

Simon Papyan proposed the public to make their offers to the abovementioned committee. He also noted that no exact timeframes are set for the operation of this committee.
