Nature and visitors center was opened in Dsegh Community in Lori region of the RA. Lyuba Balyan, Co-founder of the Armenian Society for the Protection of Birds mentioned in her speech that Dsegh community was specially chosen to establish the center as it is considered one of the hot places of the biodiversity of Armenia.
She stated that the center is not only aimed at promoting tourism, making nature of Dsegh more known, but also acting as an important platform for researches. One of the main aims of the center is also to involve the people of the community in the process of tourism development.
