RA Environment Ministry issued a positive conclusion to the environmental impact application filed by "Armpower" CJSC for the reconstruction of the new combined steam-gas cycle power unit in Yerevan.
The territory of the thermal power plant is located in the area adjacent to the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant. According to the conclusion, during several months of operation of the station, certain circumstances were revealed, and the company needed to carry out reconstruction works and review the production indicators and installed capacity. After the reconstruction, the average annual capacity of the plant will make up 254 MW.
