On June 14, 2023, a working discussion on the formation of "Green Development" platform was held at Yerevan Municipality with the participation of civil society representatives. According to the Development and Investment Department of Municipality, the establishment of the communication platform stems from Yerevan’s Action Plan for 2023-2024 implemented by "Local Open Government Partnership" initiative.
During the meeting, the commitments undertaken by the action plan developed by Yerevan, the steps taken and planned to implement them were briefly presented.
Victoria Burnazyan, Deputy President of "EcoLur" Informational NGO, made suggestions on planning separate sections on water resources management, atmospheric air, climatic conditions of Yerevan and posting regularly updated information on the planned platform.
