The development of Yerevan's master plan has been completed, the document is undergoing a strategic ecological assessment at RA Ministry of Environment, as Andranik Sedoyan, Director of "Yerevan Project" Institute, reported on this on July 29 during the procedural meeting of Yerevan Municipality.
"In the near future, we will also have a public hearing, after which, after summarizing the package, we will present it to the Urban Planning Committee," he said.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan responded, "The next hearing is scheduled for August 8. Let's plan our work in such a way that at our first session of the Yerevan Council of Elders in September, the members of the Council of Elders will have the opportunity to discuss the issue and adopt the master plan."
He mentioned that the document must first be approved by the Armenian government, then by the meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders.
