Ecolur Informational NGO has released a new video entitled "Nairit: At Crossroads of Industrial Heritage and Future Opportunities."
The video presents the current condition of Nairit Plant, which has remained idle for nearly 16 years, highlighting the risks associated with hazardous chemicals accumulated on the site, as well as the government's initiative to decontaminate and redevelop the plant's territory.
The video features expert perspectives from Roza Julhakyan, PhD in Chemical Sciences, and Aram Gabrielyan, PhD in Physics and Mathematics.
They discuss the inventory and safe management of hazardous chemical substances, the environmental remediation of the site, technological options for the treatment and recovery of industrial waste; and different approaches to the future use and redevelopment of Nairit Plant site.
