EcoBus To Draw Attention to Environmental Problems (photos)

A group of active youth in Vanadzor is proposing a new solution how to draw people’s attention to the environmental problems. They started converting the old non-used bus near Lori Regional Library, Vanadzor, into EcoBus: their repair, paint it and grow flowers inside. These works are carried out in the frames of “EcoBus” project, which was launched on 18 July and will continue till September. The aim of this project is to give new look to the non-used machinery and things, which will result in creating new and beautiful eco pasture centers for the residents and tourists. “The project will inspire the town population to draw people’s attention to the environmental problems and to create more green territories,” Polytechnic University student Arevik Charchyan, initiative group member, told EcoLur and mentioned that the idea of “EcoBus” was generated as a result of “EcoLab” seminar organized in the frames of “Joint Civic Education” program.
