Avet Martirosyan, head of the department of nature protection of Yerevan Municipality disagrees with the statements on landscaping in Yerevan presented at the press conference held in "EcoLur" press club on November 6. In his interview to the Public radio he said that he was ready to debate over all the questions raised. "Until 1990 the total green areas were 930 ha, in 2005 these areas were 520 ha. That is, this much reduction occurred. Already in 2015 we are going to restore those green areas and pass the limit, every year we are creating new gardens", Avet Martirosyan particularly said.
Reminder: Yerevan Municipality refused to take part in the press conference.
