RA Environment Ministry has refused the issuance of water use permits to Lori Berd 1 and Lori Berd 2 SHHPs on the Dzoraget River in Lori Region, as Environment Ministry informs in its response letter to EcoLur.
It should be reminded that EcoLur proposed RA Environment Ministry to refuse to issue a water use permit for the construction of these SHPPs.
The response letter says:
"In response to your letter dated on April 19, 2021, I would like to inform you that Environment Ministry has studied the applications for obtaining water use permits for the construction of Lori Berd 1 and Lori Berd 2 SHHPs on the Dzoraget River submitted by Lorva Amrots LLC with letter No. 1 dated on February 9, 2021, which were rejected under RA Water Code, Governmental Resolution N 488-Ն dated on 8 April 2021 and Environment Minister’s Decrees N128-Ա and N129-Ա dated on 19 April 2021.
