The residents of Tsahgkashat Community have addressed an open letter to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and PM Hovik Abrahamyan. In the e-mail sent to the aysor.am the community residents say:
“Tsaghkashat community is famous for its forests and picturesque places virgin nature developed cattle breeding and agriculture. Currently Teghut CJSC is trying to eliminate the past and future of our Tsaghkashat, which we won’t allow even at the expense of our lives. 95% of the community residents have put their signatures during the signature collection.
We, the residents of Tsaghkashat community Lori Region, Village Head and members of Aldermen’s Council of Tsaghkashat Community are asking you not to allow and to suspend the geoprospecting works designed for “Tsaghkashat-Akhetq mine field”.
