The seat of the Armenian President is located on the hub of the brooks in Yerevan. On April 8 Ruben Yadoyan, PhD in Geological Sciences, made a statement about this at EcoLur Press Club. At the press conference he presented the problems undermining to Yerevan, which he classified under three groups: construction of a multi-storey building without any grounds, empty places in Yerevan downtown due to pressure waters and landslips. The other speaker, “We Are This City’s Owners” civic initiative member Arthur Avtandilyan spoke about the reasons of their withdrawal from the environmental committee of Yerevan Municipality.
