EcoLur presents the video entitled "Landfill in The Open Air". The problems of waste management in the country are presented on the example of Talin, Haghartsin, Yeghegnadzor and Vanadzor landfill sites located in four regions of Armenia.
It should be noted that about 750 thousand tons of garbage are generated in Armenia annually. However, there are no clear data on how much garbage accumulates in landfills, how much is dumped in nature, forming voluntary garbage piles.
The video was prepared within the framework of " IMPACTED COMMUNITIES AND CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS AS PARTICIPANTS IN INTRODUCTION OF SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL CULTURE IN ENERGY AND CLIMATE CHANGE POLICIES IN ARMENIA" project implemented by "EcoLur" Informational NGO. The project is implemented with the support of "EU4Climate" regional program and the UNDP/GEF Small Grants Programme.
