On August 3, the officers from Tumanyan Police Department detected a case of illegal logging. According to the official website of the Police, at around 11:30 pm on the same day, the police checked the GAZ-66 truck of a 49-year-old resident of Martz village in the beginning of the same village. The driver did not submit a relevant document for about 5 cubic meters of wood in the car, stating that he cut wind-fallen oaks with a chainsaw and the branched of a standing linden tree in the outskirts of Dsegh Village on July 27 and August 1.
According to the official information, the truck, along with the timber, was taken to a specially guarded area of Tumanyan Police Department. Materials are being prepared based on this fact.
