At the meeting of October 12, 2023, RA government approved the proposal to sign "Green, Resilient and Inclusive Development Policy Program" loan agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the OPEC International Development Fund. The value of the project is 50 million Euros.
OPEC is the Organization of Oil Exporting Countries. This project is implemented jointly with the World Bank.
The reform framework of the program includes three measures: it is planned to promote energy efficiency, implement public investment management, atmospheric air protection, environmental impact assessment, as well as to improve the addressability of the social support system, introduce a new educational competence-based program directed towards learning outcomes, and third, strengthening the anti-corruption framework and the effectiveness of the justice sector.
