The Armenian Government intends to cover, for five years, the annual construction fee envisaged under the investment program of an NGO led by MP Ishkhan Zakaryan. The amount will exceed 165 million AMD per year. The decision was adopted at today’s Government session.
Zakaryan plans to build a sports complex (sports village) in Jrvezh, specifically within a forest park area. The land for this project had been allocated by the Government last year through an expedited procedure. The executive has now decided to cover the construction fee for the same land it had granted, effectively relieving Zakaryan of part of the financial burden of the investment program.
23 Hectares of Forest Park Allocated to Ishkhan Zakaryan
Last August, the Government decided to allocate over 23 hectares from “Jrvezh” forest park near Yerevan to World Committee of "Pan-Armenian Games" NGO, headed by Ishkhan Zakaryan.
