Today General Director of Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC Mher Poloskov had a meeting with the employees of the combine, who had held a protest demonstration yesterday.
The employees demanded from the combine administration to increase their pays. As a Qajaran resident told EcoLur, during the meeting Mher Poloskov promised to review the salaries and to raise them stage by stage.
“People said, if he doesn’t keep his promise, they will protest again,” Qajaran resident said.
Mher Poloskov also promised from now on to be more “available” for the employees and to meet with them at least once a week.
