In 2021 Inspection Body To Conduct Inspection in Five Non-Operating Mining Companies

In 2021 the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body plans to conduct inspections in 100 companies. According to the inspection body in 2021, 5 out of the mentioned 100 inspections of the annual activity plan will be carried out in metal mining companies.

The inspection will be carried out in "Multi Group Concern" LLC, "Paramount Gold Mining" CJSC, "Fortune Resources", "Baktek Eco" and "Molybdenum World" LLC. “Multi Group Concern” owns the soil management right to No. 8 and 5 ore bodies of Mghart gold mine in Lori Region. The term of operation of the mine is set for 2012-2031. The mine has not been developed for several years.

"Baktek Eco" LLC owns the soil management right to Arjut gold mine. However, the mine has not been developed at all.

In 2020, the right of "Paramount Gold Mining" company to soil management of Lusajur site of Meghradzor gold mine was terminated by the order of RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan.

In 2020, RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure has also terminated the soil management right of "Molybdenum World" LLC owning Dastakert copper and molybdenum mine.

By another order of RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, an administrative proceeding was initiated against "Fortune Resources" LLC on the termination of the soil management right.
