Why EPMI To Inspect in Non-Operating Mining Companies: Explanation by Inspection Body

RA Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body sent an explanation to EcoLur in response to its published article entitled “In 2021 Inspection Body To Conduct Inspection in Five Non-Operating Mining Companies”, which says:

“RA Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body will carry out 5 inspection out of the business entities envisaged by the annual inspection program in metal mining companies: "Multi Group Concern" LLC, "Paramount Gold Mining" CJSC, "Fortune Resources" LLC, "Baktek Eco" LLC and "Molybdenum World" LLC.

The appendix to the above-mentioned Decision lays down the criteria for the preparation of the inspection program, according to which the business entities have been selected for the inspection for the upcoming 2021.

By the relevant orders of RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the soil management rights of "Paramount Gold Mining" CJSC, "Fortune Resources" LLC and "Molybdenum World" LLC have been terminated. These companies are included in the annual program of the inspection body to find out whether or not the companies have fulfilled their contractual obligations before the termination.

"In order to find out the reliability of the reports submitted by "Multi Group Concern" and "Baktek Eco" LLC, the companies were included in the inspection program."
