From now on, soil managers will make payments to the Environmental Protection Fund in accordance with the new procedure.
On August 18, the executive adopted RA decision "On defining the procedure for calculating and recalculating the estimated values of reclamation works." The aim is to calculate and recalculate the real amount of the base amount of Environment Preservation Fund allocations, as a result of which financial guarantees for the restored lands will be created, and the actual lands subject to reclamation will be reclaimed.
The decision is expected to calculate the real value of the reclamation of the damaged lands, recalculate, as a result, possible restoration of landscapes, reduction of the negative impact on the environment. The draft decision was developed by RA Ministry of Environment
