Criminal Case on Operating Stone Workshop in Ajapnyak in Violation of Law Requirements Arusyak

Based on the report filed by Shushan Doydoyan, chairperson of NGO “Freedom of Information Center”, a criminal case has been initiated in Ajapnyak administrative district on the case of operating a stone workshop in violation of the law, as the press service of RA Prosecutor's Office informs.

On 21 of August 2021 Shushan Doydoyan, chairperson of NGO “ Freedom of Information Center”, submitted a statement to the RA Prosecutor General that the stone factory operates in close proximity to the old highway 60/1 of the Silikyan district of the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan, which is located on a land plot and this plot is a public property and that the leader of the community showed criminal inaction on the fact of illegal exploitation of land, did not take action in violation of the requirements of sub-points 7 and 9 of point 1 of Art. 42 of the RA Law "On Local Self-Government Bodies". According to the data of the RA State Cadastre Committee, the purpose of the land is residential, operational - housing construction, and there are no state registrations with regard to real estate in the name of the operating I / E.

By the instruction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Administrative Districts of Ajapnyak and Davtashen of Yerevan, in connection with the circumstances indicated in the statement, the police prepared materials, during which data were obtained that in the close proximity to the old highway 60/1 and 9/12 of the Silikyan district there is a land plot, where a person has registered in his name since 2015 the I/E and carries out the activities of a stone factory. The latter in 2018-2019 applied to the municipality of Yerevan to obtain ownership of the land plot, and on May 27, 2021 applied to the RA Administrative Court, and the court made a decision on the application of measures to secure the claim.
