


A group of active residents has been formed in Odzun enlarged community in Lori Region, who will take part in collecting the necessary data for the development of the community's social-ecological policy. It will be implemented through "Socio-Ecological Responsibility" project through "Environmental and Social Policy Assessment Tool". The tool was presented by Rosa Julhakyan, a project expert, PhD in Chemical Cciences, during the meeting with the representatives of the community and local self-government body held on November 18, 2021 in Odzun.
The tool reflects the description of the current community development program of Odzun Community, the financial opportunities, including the programs implemented by international organizations and local businesses and their allocations. The organizations operating in the community whose activities affect the health of the community and the environment are mentioned. The purpose of collecting data with the participation of community residents is to clarify the official information on the socio-ecological situation of the community, to raise the position of the population and the local government and to receive suggestions on the socio-ecological policy.
The meetings in Odzun were initiated by the member organizations of “Socio-Ecological" consortium "Center for Community Consolidation and Support" NGO and "EcoLur" Informational NGO.
Next, official information on the socio-ecological situation of Odzun community will be presented.
