The company owns the soil management rights of Armanis gold-polymetallic mine. The mine was not operated after 2015, although according to soil management contract PV-093, the operation period should end in 2049. From March 2021, the company resumed mineral extraction operations.
We, "Center for Community Mobilization and Support" NGO and ""EcoLur" Informational NGO, call on "Sagamar" CJSC to submit a report on the assumed obligations, as well as to submit a plan for the restoration of contaminated areas, measures to prevent further pollution and an expenditure fund for the implementation of these works.
