Environment Ministry is going to consider the substantiations submitted by the civil society regarding the rejection of the application for the re-evaluation of the nepheline syenite reserves of Tezhaget site in Tezhasar mine, as RA Deputy Environment Minister Tigran Gabrielyan informed "EcoLur" in his letter N3/26.6/11758 dated on August 23, 2022.
On August 15, the representatives of the civil society sent a letter to Environment Ministry submitting the reasons for rejecting the application.
Reminder: On August 11, 2022, the residents of Meghradzor settlement, Tsaghkadzor community, Kotayk Region, Armenia expressed their opposition to the implementation of geological prospecting activities planned for 2022-2025 for the re-evaluation of nepheline syenite reserves of Tezhaget site in Tezhasar mine.
