

The process of selecting members and alternative members of the civil society faction of the Multi-stakeholder Group (MSG) of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) has launched.
On November 28, 2022, a discussion on the process of selecting members and alternative members of the civil society faction of the multi-stakeholder group of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative was held at EcoLur Press Club. An electoral committee was formed to organize the elections. Vahram Hoveyan, General Secretary of "Bayazet Center" NGO, is Chairman of Election Committee.
The members of the committee are Anna Baghdasaryan, President of "Economic Journalists Club" NGO, Ashot Mirzoyan, President of "Consumer Support Center" NGO, Mher Karagozian, President of "Public Control" NGO, Gohar Hovhannisyan, President of "Hartak" Research Center NGO.
On December 1, 2022, the first session of Electoral Committee was held at the office of "EcoLur" Informational NGO. The key issues on the agenda of the session were the approval of the schedule of the regular elections to the EITI MSG for 2023, the development of templates and the text of the announcement.
