Open pit mining has been stopped in Sotq gold mine in Gegharkunik Region, as the press service of "GeoProMining Gold" LLC disseminated a press release in this regard. "Since the evening hours of April 14, Azerbaijani armed forces have been regularly firing in the direction of Sotq mine. In order to ensure the safety of the employees, the administration of "GPM GOLD" reached a decision to stop the operation of the open mine and send the staff to forced idle time," the statement says.
