Since 16 January 2018 Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body of RA Nature Protection Ministry has been implementing inspections at 'Akhtala Ore Processing Combine' CJSC, nevertheless, it hasn't still found out whether or not the tails of Akhtala OPC cause damage to the environment.
'We are taking different samples and carrying out researches and comparisons so as to understand whether or not damage has been caused,' Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body Vruyr Pepanyan told EcoLur.
