GeoProMining Gold company has got permission to import explosives and sodium cyanide to Armenia, the relevant decision was adopted at today's sitting of the Armenian government. The company may import 2,4 thsd tons of sodium cyanide and Powergel Magnum explosives (60 thsd. tons) and other explosives till 31 December 2009.
Ecology Ministry, Heath Ministry, as well as Armenian National Security Service, Armenian Police and State Income Committee were charged to control the import, its shipment and storage. In case of sale of these materials to the third party, the company has to inform state structures in advance.
GeoProMining Gold enters the group of GeoProMining companies, which excavate metals in Russia, Armenia and Georgia.
