Several Kapan-based NGOs has addressed a letter to the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, where they ask to interfere into the activities of the governmental bodies carrying out inspections at Dundee Precious Metals Kapan Company. The letter particularly says, “… In this regard our letter differs from other letters and may it will be sound surprising but we support “Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” CJSC… We can’t permit the governmental bodies to artificially pose administrative problems and to hinder to the company operations… Taking into consideration the importance of the problem for the regional center, we are expecting for your interference to carry out internal investigation towards appropriate official to eliminate non-substantiated obstacles put forward by governmental bodies…” the letter says.
Reminder: In his recent speech “Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” CJSC Director General Hrach Jabrielyan publicly accused Nature Protection Ministry, Syunik Regional Prosecutor’s Office and State Revenue Committee of hindering the normal activities of the company.
