The Public Council is going to send a letter to the Armenian Government to receive an exhaustive reply in regard with legislative regulation of tax obligations arisen from keeping mining wastes in environment, as well as other environmental problems arising because of Hrazdan and Abovyan iron mine development. Nature Protection Ministry Public Relations Department made this statement. The Council made such a decision on 30 September at the meeting of Committee on Financial-Economic and Budgetary Issues.
Miners don’t pay anything for wastes to the state guiding by Article 3 of RA Law “Environmental Fee Rates.”
