

On May 5, 2023, Power Unit No. 2 of ANPP (Armenian Nuclear Power Plant) was shut down for annual scheduled preventive maintenance (APM) for 75 days. The relaunch is scheduled for July 18, as the official website of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant says.
During the planned preventive maintenance, it is planned to carry out the following main works: intermediate repair of the reactor with full unloading of the active zone, overhaul of main circulation pumps No. 2 and 3, overhaul of steam generators No. 2 and 3, current repair of turbine generators, current repair of steam turbines.
In addition to the employees of the main workshops of ANPP, specialists with rich experience in repairing nuclear power plant systems and equipment from the Russian Federation, Croatia, the Czech Republic and other countries are involved in the planned works. The repair will be carried out under the supervision of specialists of RA Nuclear Safety Regulation Committee.
