For the purpose of saving irrigation water, the water intake from Lake Sevan has been stopped from 17:00, August 19, to 17:00 August 23, as the Water Committee informs.
The water supply in Artashat and Lower Hrazdan canals of Hrazdan irrigation system has been stopped from 22:00, August 17, to 22:00 August 21. The water supply to Arzni-Shamiram canal has been stopped from 22:00, August 18, to 22:00 August 23.
Under the official website of RA MES, 158,535 million cum water has been let out of Lake Sevan for irrigation purposes. The level of Lake Sevan makes up 1900.66 meters, which is lower by 3 cm as compared with the figures of the same day last year.
