The announcement of State Supervision Service says, 'State Supervision Service is carrying out investigations in the service area of 'Artashat' WUC. Junctions of pipelines with 100 mm diameter and 50-70 l/s capacity have been detected in the Mktchyan pipeline, which is used to irrigate the adjacent orchards. The junctions of these pipelines are illegal. Under the initial estimates, the detected pipelines have been used for over 15 years for the irrigation of vineyards, nevertheless, the payments for some of them are negligible.

'Artashat Vincom' CJSC and greenhouses are owned by Ex PM Hovik Abrahamyan's family. Based on this fact, materials are being prepared in Artashat Police Division of Ararat Police.
In his interview with the Hayeli.am website, Director of 'Artashat Vincom' CJSC Tserun Virabyan denied the information about the illegal water use disseminated by State Supervision Service. He particularly said, 'No illegal water supply has even been carried out. We are ready to establish any conditions for any inspection. The disseminated information is entirely misinformation, a hearsay, an attempt to damage the goodwill of our company as well as a violation of the presumption of innocence.'
