In the near future, 8 new deep wells will be drilled in Artashar, Yeghegnut and Zartonq communities in Armavir Region and 8 more will be recovered as Deputy Chair of Water Committee Harutyun Gulyan said at the discussion held in Armavir Municipality on 28 June.
According to the official website of the Water Committee, Harutyun Gulyan also assured that there are no serious problems specific to the irrigation season in Armavir Region, while the current problems are attempted to be regulated due to the daily schedule of communication between the municipality and the WUCs. “The most serious problem the WUCs are facing is intercommunity networks. Under the relevant project, it is planned to construct 250 km of inter-household network, out of which 91 km will be constructed in Armavir Region,” Harutyun Gulyan said.
