As a result of the inspection carried out by the employees of the Nature Protection and Mining Inspection Body on April 25, 2020 in the water bodies in Ararat Region and in Hrazdan Gorge in Yerevan City, 14 hanging fishing nets ("screens") were confiscated.
"A case of poaching was registered in the area near Ranchpar Village in Ararat Region, a double-barreled hunting rifle was confiscated," the Inspection statement says.
