Upon the decision of RA government, the Republic of Armenia is declaring martial law and general mobilization, as Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan posted on his Facebook: “Dear compatriots, now, upon the decision of the government, the Republic of Armenia is declaring martial law and general mobilization. The decision will enter into force upon promulgation. I call on the personnel attached to troops to show up to their territorial military registration offices. For the homeland, for victory.”
The martial law is also declared in Artsakh, as Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan declared at the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic. It should be mentioned that early this morning, the Azerbaijani military foced launched military actions along the entire line of Artsakh and Azerbaijan borderline.
According to the FB post by Shushan Stepanyan, Press Secretary of RA Defense Ministry, the attacks initiated by Azerbaijani military forces are successfully repulsed by the units of the Defense Army. The opponent has casualties.
