On June 28, the elections of the President, Vice-President and Academic Secretary of NAS RA took place.
Academician Ashot Saghyan, Director of "ArmBiotechnology" Scientific-Production Center of NAS RA, was elected President of NAS RA.
Academician-Secretary of the Department of Mathematical and Technical Sciences of NAS RA, Academician Lenser Aghalovyan, Director of "ArmBiotechnology" Scientific-Production Center of NAS RA, Academician Ashot Saghyan and Academician Eduard Ghazaryan were nominated for this position.
The newly elected President of NAS RA Ashot Saghyan nominated Hrant Matyosyan as Vice President of NAS RA, and Corresponding Member of NAS RA Arthur Ishkhanyan as the Academic Secretary of NAS RA Hrant Matjosyan was elected Vice President of NAS RA, whereas Arthur Ishkhanyan was elected Academic Secretary of NAS RA.
