Upon EcoLur's Alarm Signal Inspection Body Detected Violations in Stone-Crushing Plant

RA Nature Protection and Mining Inspection Body carried out an inspection in "AAB PROJECT" LLC, which deals with gravel crushing and in asphalt and concrete production in Lori Region, and found a number of violations. In particular, the amount of damage caused to the environment by the company's activities amounted to 4,821,760 AMD. As a result of the conducted administrative proceedings, administrative fines in the amount of 200,000 and 150,000 AMD were imposed.

As a result of its inspection, the inspection body found out that:

• The company operated from May 20, 2019 to May 1, 2021, exceeding the emission limit requirements of the draft emission permit.

• The company doesn’t carry out continuous measuremenets and recording of the amount of composition of the materials emitted into the atmospheric air.

• The company does not have a water meter installed at the water intake point to record water use from the Pambak River.

Mandatory execution instructions were given by the inspection body.

It should be reminded that Gugarq residents had beaten an alarm signal to EcoLur about the problem of disturbing their normal life due to dust emissions and noise. EcoLur passed the alarm signal to RA Nature Protection and Mining Inspection Body.
