Two Quakes in Shirak and Lori Regions with 3-5 Magnitude

On April 14, two earthquakes with a magnitude of 3-5 were recorded in Shirak and Lori Regions one hour apart, as RA Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

On April 14, a 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded15 km north-east of Bavra village, at a depth of 10 km at 04:13 local time. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter made up 5 points. The earthquake was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, Tavshut villages in Shirak Region, Metsavan, Sarchapet villages in Lori Region with a magnitude of 4-5 and with a magnitude of 4 in Tashir.

The second earthquake was recorded at 05:21 local time (01:21 GMT) on the Armenia-Georgia border, 14 km northeast of the village of Bavra, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 2.8. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 3-4. The earthquake was felt in Bavra, Saragyugh, Ashotsk and Paghaghbyur villages in Lori Region with a magnitude of 3.
