A full-cycle model of circular agro-food system is being implemented in Armenia, which consists of the stages of efficient pasture management, arable and hydroponic fodder production, fodder ensiling, and the stages of obtaining organic fertilizer using various manure processing technologies.

On December 19, the presentation and testing of several model production units in the framework of the measure on “Establishment of a Circular AgroFood Model at the ANAU-Balahovit Farm in Armenia” of the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU) was held.

The developed models, equipment, infrastructures should be directed to the development of the capacities of students, masters, farmers, employees of the agricultural department of the communities, contributing to the dissemination of the actions of the state food security strategy and their application, as Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) informs.
