Illegally Constructed Fence at Ruben Hayrapetyan’s Mansion Dismantled on Lake Sevan Shore
An illegally constructed fence surrounding the mansion of Ruben Hayrapetyan, former President of the Football Federation of Armenia and former Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, located below the absolute elevation mark of Lake Sevan, has been dismantled following the implementation of a motion filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of Gegharkunik Region, as the official website of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia informs.
 
The Prosecutor’s Office’s claim for the protection of state interests concerning the mansion is currently pending before the court.
 
The Prosecutor’s Office has also filed claims for the protection of state interests concerning the administrative complex of Harsnaqar Hotel and the hotel’s cottages.
 
As a result of the implementation of motions filed by the Prosecutor’s Office, between December 2025 and 1 July 2026, 201 illegally constructed permanent and non-permanent buildings and structures were dismantled on 68 plots of land located below the absolute elevation mark along the shoreline of Lake Sevan. In addition, two contracts were terminated or cancelled by “Sevan National Park” SNCO.
